The Two who went for the job interview

THE TWO MEN WHO WENT FOR A JOB INTERVIEW Some time back two men read about a certain job opportunity in the newspaper and being unemployed, ther felt it wire to give it a try by submitting in their qualificatwins, they were from different places and had never met actually. They submitted in their application letters and luckily enough they got summoned to go the company headquarters the following week for an interview.  The boss individually looked at their qualifications and all were satisfactory to be employed, he became so puzzled on who he should employ since there was only a single vacancy left in the company, he subjected both men to different tests outside the programmed interview scheduled and he was shocked that both passed with higher marks and both looked beyond qualified for the position. The man wanted to be fair enough while offering the job but could not find any other methods and ways to select the most fit person for the job. He sat down and thought for a while. "...

Life

What is life? Life is a non predictable journey that is not meant to be flawless or perfect, it is meant to be challenging, eventful and adventurous, we simply need to strike the balance and appreciate every single second of life, live each minute as if it were you last and always strive harder to better than you were yesterday. Life is the fullness of God. Life is a profound mystery — a precious gift from God that is rich, complex, and full of unexpected challenges and blessings. It is more than just existing or going through routines; life is a journey of growth, struggle, discovery, and purpose. The Nature of Life Life is unpredictable. No one knows what the next day holds. Sometimes, life brings joy, success, and peace; other times, pain, failure, and confusion. This unpredictability is part of God’s design, inviting us to trust Him daily and walk by faith.  “ For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord… plans to give you a future and a hope.” — Jeremiah 29:11 Life I...

St. Christopher the Christ Bearer

St. Christopher, martyr and one of the 14 Holy helpers, his name simply translated "Christ-bearer" (Feast Day 25 July) According to lore, Christopher, called Kester, was a large, ugly man who earned his living by ferrying people across a river. The Chapel of St. Christopher, Hermitage, Rhone-Alpes in France. Christopher was popularized by William Caxton’sversion of the Golden Legend. According to Caxton, Christopher was of the lineage of the Canaanites. Prior to baptism, his name was Reprobus. As Christopher, he bore Christ in four ways: on his shoulders by leading and conveying; in his body by making it lean; in his mind by devotion; and in his mouth by confessing and preaching. St. Christopher with the little child Jesus on his shoulders. It is said that one day Christopher decided to seek out the greatest prince in the world. He came across a band of marauders, one of whom declared himself to be the devil, so Christopher decided to serve him, but t...

The Perception of the Holy Trinity

Image
St. Augustine of Hippo and the little boy who many believe was Jesus at the Sea shore. A story is told about an encounter between St. Augustine of Hippo and a young boy he met at the sea shore trying to fill a small hole with all the water in the ocean which definitely seemed impossible, but it was a narrow story with a broad meaning. No one can perceive the dogma of the Holy Trinity at once or the all of it because of it's broad nature, it is only God that makes us understand bit by bit about what the Holy Trinity is made of. As Christians, we are obliged to always seek out and try to understand this complex dogma, we need to ask the Lord to guide us and let us understand Him more and more. It was around the year 415 and St. Augustine was walking along the beach on a bright, sunny day. He was frustrated, having taken a break from working on what’s become known as one of his greatest doctrinal contributions to the Church, De Trinitate, or “On the Trinity.” The subject m...

Refuge In God

Image
Many of us today seek refuge in wrong places, we ought to seek refuge at the feet of Jesus, He’s our refuge, He will wipe away our tears and give us the comfort we seek. Do not be afraid to approach the Cross of Jesus.

Detachment from Non-Godly things.

Learn to detach yourself from all things that divert you from doing the will of God. Matthew 5:29-30

The Love of Neighbor.

The Gospel calls us to consider the good of our neighbor as equally important as our own good. May we express our love for God by prioritizing the needs of those around us, particularly the most vulnerable and marginalized.

Brokenness

The devil uses the broken pieces of our lives as an entry point into our hearts, relationships and families and as soon as he succeeds, he further pulls us apart that it makes it almost impossible to join back the broken pieces of our lives. The harder we try to mend back our broken relationships, the harder he tries to dissect us further.  He truly knows there is power in unity, he knows once mankind join and team up together in prayer then all his adverse will be in vain. Jesus willed that we stay together and be united as a whole but apparatrntly the devil’s main aim is to bring division amidst us; we ought to fight hard with prayer to defeat the devil. Lord Jesus, just as you and the Father are one, make us too be one in you, the Holy Spirit and in God. Amen
