The Gospel calls us to consider the good of our neighbor as equally important as our own good. May we express our love for God by prioritizing the needs of those around us, particularly the most vulnerable and marginalized.

Mary, Our Mother, Guide, and Terror of Demons “Behold your mother.” — John 19:27 Reflection: At the Cross, Jesus gave Mary to all believers. She is our spiritual mother, guiding, comforting, and interceding for us. Let us honor her presence in our lives daily. Mary is not simply a distant figure in salvation history; she is our mother, our compass, and our guide in the journey of faith. God, in His wisdom, gave us Mary at the foot of the Cross when Jesus said to St. John, “Behold your mother” (John 19:27) . From that moment on, she became the mother of all believers—a sure refuge, intercessor, and companion on our way to eternal life. Mary, Our Compass and Guide Just as a compass points north to guide a traveler, Mary points us unfailingly to her Son, Jesus Christ. Her words at the wedding feast at Cana remain timeless: “Do whatever He tells you” (John 2:5).
