SIN

Sin deprives us of peace of mind, whenever we sin we lose the grace and peace in our lives; it is like we allow the devil to dictate our lives whenever we sin. We find ourselves so miserable and guilty when we sin and this is worse when we sin intentionally, we actually feel out of place when we do something we know is against the decrees of the LORD.

The more we live a life of habitual sin, the more dreadful we become, the more depressed and stressed we become, we actually push GOD ’s grace further away from us the more we sin and without the grace of GOD , the Holy Spirit distances itself away from us for He cannot dwell in an unholy home. He does not share room with sin/the devil and without the Holy Spirit and the grace

of GOD in our lives, we are like captains on the seas without a compass, we are like blind men

leading each other, we become orphans, we become slaves to sin and nothing good actually comes out of us.

The devil will always make us start weighing up our sins and constantly tell us that there is no need for us to go for confession, he will make us believe that our sins are so light when compared to other people’s sins and that there is no need for approaching GOD for pardon. It is rightful to remember that every sin is displeasing to GOD and deprives us of GOD’s love. Let us embrace going for confession, doing good and avoiding all the occasions that lead us to sin.
